The safety of this product is of great importance to us. For this reason, modified versions of the open source software used can generally only be installed if this is enabled by us. Please note that the installation of modified software may mean that any applicable security requirements for the product are no longer met and that it can no longer be used in the form originally intended.

If you still wish to install modified versions of the software components licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and/or the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), please contact open-source@gantner.com stating that you want to install customized versions of the software on your device and include the following information: device article number, serial number, firmware version and your contact details (name, address, city and state). You will then receive all the necessary information for returning the device to us.

We will then remove the security features used to fulfill our license obligations to the GPL and/or LGPL licensors, thereby enabling you to install GPL and/or LGPL software, remove our trademarks from the product and return the product to you. Removing the security features also results in functional restrictions.

However, redistribution of the product with modified software is not permitted as exhaustion of the distribution right cannot occur for the specific copy. Also the use of the product may be prohibited if it violates any legal provisions. It is your responsibility to check whether the use is permissible in the specific case or to obtain the required permits. The warranty is void for any defects related to the use of modified software.
