GT7 Lite

5.4. Configuration via web interface

You can use a web browser to directly access a GT7 Lite that is reachable via the network.

  1. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox) on a PC or mobile device.

  2. Enter the IP address of the GT7 Lite into the address line.

    Note

    The GT7 Lite uses DHCP by default to automatically obtain an IP address from the network. You can use the GAT Device Finder software to scan the network for Gantner devices and see their IP addresses. This software can be downloaded from the Gantner website (login required). Alternatively, ask your network administrator for the IP address.

  3. Enter your Username and Password. Click Login.

    Notice

    For the initial login, the default username admin and the default password GAT can be used. After the initial login, a new admin password and PIN code must be set for configuration in the web interface (see ‎Security and user).

The following areas and functions are available in this window.

  1. Use the configuration menu to access the settings of the GT7 Lite. Click on the menu button in the top left corner to show/hide the configuration menu.

  2. The device type and firmware version are shown here.

  3. Path of the currently displayed screen.

  4. Main information screen for the selected configuration menu option.

  5. You can change the display language here.

  6. The logged-in user is displayed here.

  7. Click on this symbol to log out of the web interface.
