5.4.16. Licensing and coding points
On this page, the network and license information for the GT7 Lite are displayed and you can also add new license points here. The coding points that are used to encode data carriers using the corresponding G7 app can also be added.
License information
Serial number: The serial number of the GT7 Lite.
LAN MAC address: Unique, internal network address of the GT7 Lite.
License points: License points are required to activate certain G7 apps and enable other features. License points can be purchased from Gantner. The available license points are displayed here.
Open card: A tick in this field indicates that the Open Card license has been enabled and the certificate check is disabled, i.e., data carriers that were not coded by Gantner can also be used.
License code: Here you can enter a license code for the installation of additional apps or to activate additional functions can be entered here.
Note
License codes can also be conveniently managed in G7 Connect and allocated to the individual devices.
Coding points
Coding points left: Here you can see how many coding points are currently still available in the terminal. As soon as you add new coding points, the new coding points are displayed here.
Total coded cards: The number of data carriers that have already been encoded is displayed here.
