2.1. About this manual
Note
The general terms “GT7.3x27”, "G7 Ticketing Terminal" and also "terminal" are used throughout this manual to refer to both the GT7.3527 and GT7.3727 terminals collectively. If information is applicable to a particular terminal variant, this will be noted.
This manual contains a detailed description of how to install, configure, and commission the GT7.3x27 ticketing terminals. The instructions for completing the electrical connection of external devices as well as the power supply and network connections are also included in the manual.
Different devices, e.g., turnstiles or gates, can be connected to the GT7.3x27. For the processing of signals such as turnstile control and feedback several inputs and outputs are available. The basic functions and configuration settings are described in this manual. For a description of the supplementary devices and applications not listed in this manual, please refer to the documentation of these components.
