4.3.1. Relay outputs
The relay outputs Rel. 1 and Rel. 2 can be used to output digital signals to control external components such as door or turnstile openers. Both relay outputs are normally open contacts (NO). The function and timing of the relays are configurable. Use a freewheeling diode and observe the maximum permissible switching voltages and currents.
Connected components must comply with the relevant safety standards (IEC 60950-1 or IEC 62368-1). Supply output VOut 1 and VOut 2 (24 V DC) can be used to supply the external components provided that the performance data is maintained (see Technical data).

The desired function, such as unlock door, deny access, or block external device, must be selected and the activation time of the relay set in the App configuration settings of the web interface. The activated app (e.g., Access App) must provide this option in order to use the relays.
