4.3. Input and output connections
External components, e.g., turnstiles and doors, can be connected to the GT7.3x27. The terminal has two relay outputs for controlling an access point and one optocoupler input for status acquisition. The outputs are potential-free relays and must be connected to the corresponding control inputs at the turnstile or door. The input is an optocoupler input and a corresponding supply voltage is required for detecting the correct status information.
Notice
Observe the permitted voltage and power values of the inputs and outputs (see Technical data).
After connection, the desired function for the input/output must be configured in the app configuration settings of the G7 app that is operating on the terminal. The input and output settings are not available with every app as not all apps require this functionality.
The following figure provides an example of how to terminate the wiring and the general connection to a turnstile. Please also refer to the turnstile or door documentation for more information on these electrical connections.
