4.8. Master cards

Master cards are special system data carriers with extended rights (master key function). They can be used, e.g., for service purposes or to unlock a locker where the user data carrier that locked the locker has been lost.
Caution
Special care must be taken with master cards. Keep them in a secure place protected from unauthorized access.
On this page, the master cards that are to be used in the system can be added, edited, and deleted. You can also disable a master card, e.g., if a master card has been lost or is no longer to be used. Multiple master cards can be added on this page but only max. 10 master cards can be active at the same time.
Available master cards
The UID number (in decimal format), a description, and the status of all defined master cards are displayed here.
Delete master cards
Click on the trash can icon to delete a master card from the system. All previously configured data is deleted after completing this action.
Add / Edit master card
Click on this button to add new master cards or to edit the existing master cards. See chapter Adding and deleting master cards for instructions on this process.
